A local real estate firm joining a national franchise isn’t news. But leaving one is rare.  Oregon Opportunities has announced it is becoming independent once again.

“After five years as part of the Harcourt franchise, it was a big decision. But it was the right one for us,” explains Founder and Principal Broker Tom Harrison. “Fortunately, our collaborative team of agents has the experience and local knowledge to prosper into today’s challenging real estate market.”

Harrison adds that from a client’s perspective, nothing will change except for the name. Pending transactions will continue without interruption and any current listings will see no change in service. While there will be no changes in current agents, the firm is actively looking for additional agents.

Since its founding in 1989, Oregon Opportunities has built a solid reputation as a leading expert in rural land and commercial properties. “We will now have greater opportunities to add agents and expand our offerings in residential, property management, and other areas that we have been active in, but not well-known,” explains Harrison.
